ASHLAND, WI - The owners and employees at Fast Lane Motorsports go the extra mile to ensure drivers in WISSOTA country have what they need to be successful.
The proof can be found each and every week in the results from area tracks as well as special events held elsewhere.
From the company's building complex at 3122 E. Lakeshore Drive in Ashland, everyone steers the growth of the business. Starting with their signature products - the highly competitive Galloper Chassis for Modifieds, Super Stocks, Midwest Modifieds, Street Stocks, ABC Raceway's Six Cylinders, and Pure Stocks - Fast Lane Motorsports can supply a driver with everything he or she needs, from powdercoating the frame to all the parts to build your chassis and safety equipment to keep you, the racer, safe.
Through the combined efforts of everyone at Fast Lane Motorsports, a racer can place an order for a new Galloper Chassis and receive a complete roller without having to go elsewhere for a single item. A racer can also supply the motor and the new car can be set up turnkey ready to go racing.
When it's time to hit the track, racers turn to the Fast Lane Motorsports parts truck when needed at AMSOIL Speedway in Superior on Friday nights, ABC Raceway on Saturdays, and Sundays at Proctor Speedway in Proctor, MN. Fast Lane's parts truck includes an inventory that will help the racer in need on any night's event, from small parts like spark plugs to larger items like a transmission. The Fast Lane truck is fully stocked with fuel and tires so you don't have to transport them to the track.
Tom Adamzak, Fast Lane's parts manager, can help you with all of your parts needs at the fully stocked store in Ashland. Tom is also the head WISSOTA tech person at ABC Raceway in Ashland. He can answer your tech questions about what you can and cannot do with your WISSOTA race car.
Fast Lane not only builds chassis but has the personnel and the equipment necessary to get racers back on the track as soon as possible after unfortunate on-track mishaps.
Ron Poppe is the head of the fabrication department at Fast Lane Motorsports. Fast Lane Motorsports also does custom fabricating; no job is too big or too small. Fast Lane is set up to weld stainless steel, aluminum and steel.
Fast Lane also does powdercoating in house. Fast Lane's oven is 25 feet long, 10 feet wide, and 8 feet tall. If it is metal (aluminum, cast iron, steel) they can powdercoat it. They do everything from bicycles, lawn furniture, trailers and dump truck boxes to custom motorcycles.
Fast Lane is a dealer for both QA1 and Integra shocks, with repair, rebuild, or revalve capabilities.
Fast Lane recently became a dealer for Integra shock absorbers, including repair, rebuild, and revalving.
Fast Lane has a shock dyno and spring tester in house. They suggest that you dyno your shock absorbers annually. It is better to verify, than to hope or assume your current shock absorbers are performing properly.
Fast Lane Motorsports, which calls itself "Your northland racing supply store," is located at 3122 E. Lakeshore Drive (Hwy. 2) on the far east side of Ashland, WI. Fast Lane is open 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday thru Friday and weekends and evenings by appointment.
